Why Everyone's Talking About the Glowence Water Flosser
Three pressure settings and four interchangeable nozzles in one cordless handset — the reason people who gave up on string floss a decade ago are flossing again every night.
Ninety PSI Of Adjustment
Ninety PSI separates the lightest setting from the strongest, which is a wider spread than most cordless flossers give you. Pulse at 40 for the first week, Normal for the daily pass, Strong at 130 when you have had something that lingers. The Glowence holds whichever setting you left it on.
The End Of String Floss
String floss asks you to wind, aim and saw at an angle you cannot see, standing over a sink at eleven at night. This asks you to point and press. Sixty seconds later the job is done, which is why the Glowence actually gets used every night.
Four Nozzles, Four People
Four nozzles come in the box with the Glowence Water Flosser, so the family is not sharing one. Colour-code them, or keep a spare for the tip that works around a bridge. They twist off and back on in a second, and rinse clean afterwards.
Nothing Left On The Counter
There is no base unit, no plug and nothing permanently occupying the counter. The Glowence and its 1500 mAh battery charge over USB-C from the same cable as your phone, and its 300 ml tank empties down to a shape that fits a wash bag.
How to Use the Glowence Water Flosser
There is nothing to install, mount or plug in permanently. Charge it once over USB-C, fill the tank at the tap and you are ready. Lean over the sink with your mouth slightly open, because the water has to go somewhere, and work along the gum line at your own pace.
-
Fill The Tank
Fill with lukewarm water up to the line, then click the lid shut
-
Choose Your Mode
Press the button to cycle through Pulse, Normal and Strong before you start
-
Work The Gumline
Follow the gum line, pausing briefly between each tooth, front and back
-
Repeat Every Night
Rinse the tank, stand it upright, and do it again tomorrow evening

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What does a water flosser actually do?
It sends a focused jet of water along the gum line and into the gaps between teeth that a brush cannot reach.
Do I need an app or a subscription?
No. There is no app, no account and no subscription. Press the button and it works, straight out of the box.
Will it work around braces and implants?
Yes. Four interchangeable nozzles are included, and the water jet works around brackets, wires, bridges, crowns and implants without catching.
How does it charge?
Over USB-C, from the same cable and plug as your phone. There is no base unit and no bathroom socket required.
How much water does the tank hold?
300 ml, which is enough for a full pass around the whole mouth without stopping halfway through to refill it.
Is it too powerful for a first-time user?
Start on Pulse at 40 PSI, which is deliberately gentle, and work up through Normal to Strong as it starts to feel normal.
Where should I use it?
Over a sink, leaning forward with your mouth slightly open so the water runs out rather than collecting inside.
Is there anyone who should check first?
If you have had recent dental work or are currently under treatment, speak to your dentist before adding a water flosser to your routine.
